Core Email Setup for Android

Accesss your Core email address directly into your Android phone without use Core.com webmail interface by following simple steps provided below.

Access Your Core.com Account From an Android Using SMTP & IMAP

  1. Go to the Android Home screen and search and open an Email or Gmail app (This setup may vary depending on the model and version).
  2. if you already have other email accounts in this app, go to Menu from the top 3 line and Tap settings and click Add Account.
  3. Tab Other into Setup email section.
  4. Enter your core.com email address then click Manual Setup button.
  5. Select POP account.
  6. Enter the following details on incoming server settings screen.
    Username: Your core.com username
    Password: Your Core.com account password
    POP server: mail.core.com
    Security type: SSL (Make sure SSL encryption is enabled for the incoming mail server)
    Port: 995
    Click Next Button.
  7. Enter the following details on outgoing server settings screen. SMTP server: authmail.core.com
    Port: 25
    Security type: None (unchecked ssl option)
    Click Next Button.
  8. Select Email check frequency (preferably every 15 minutes).
  9. Give your account name and Press Done.
  10. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive Core.com email on your Android device.
