Mail Email Setup for Android

Mail Setup Step Process

1. Go to the Android Home screen and open an Email or Gmail app (This setup may vary depending on the model and version).
2. if you already have other email accounts in this app, go to Menu from the top 3 line and Tap settings and click Add Account.
3. Tab Other into Setup email section.
4. Enter your mail.de email address then click Manual Setup button.
5. Select IMAP account.
6. Enter the following details on incoming server settings screen.
   

   Username: Your email address is your username
   Password: Your account password
   IMAP server: imap.mail.de
   Security type: SSL (Make sure SSL encryption is enabled for the incoming mail server)
   Port: 993

   Click Next Button

7. Enter the following details on outgoing server settings screen.

   SMTP server: smtp.mail.de
   Port: 587
   Security type: SSL (Make sure SSL encryption is enabled for the outgoing mail server)

   Click Next Button

8. Select Email check frequency (preferably every 15 minutes).
9. Give your account name and Press Done.
10. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive mail.de email on your Android device.
