Starhub detailed instructions
In the following step-by-step process, you will be able to set up your Starhub.net.sg email on any Android version on your phone. This Starhub setup process may vary by Android version, but it generally works on all Android devices.
Step 1Open Gmail App
Open an email or Gmail app from your Android phone app list.
Step 2Add Account
If you already have other email accounts in this app, go to the menu from the top 3 lines and tap settings. Click Add Account to add your Starhub mail.
Step 3Enter Starhub Email Address
Select the other last option on the Set up email page, then enter your Starhub.net.sg full email address and click the Manual Setup button located at the bottom.
Step 4Select Protocol
Select the Personal (POP) account from the list and enter your Starhub email account password.
Step 5Add Incoming Server Settings Detail
Email Username: Your Starhub email address is your username
Email Password: Your account password
Incoming POP server: pop.gmail.com
Incoming Port: 995
Security type: Yes
Click "Next" button.
Step 6Add Outgoing Server Settings Detail
Email Username: Your Starhub email address is your username
Email Password: Your account password
Outgoing SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Outgoing Port: 587
Security type: Yes
Click "Next" button.
Step 7Account Options
Choose an Starhub email check frequency (preferably every 15 minutes) or Leave it as is and press the next button.
Step 8Account Name
Give your Starhub account name and your name, but this is an optional setting. Press Done.
Step 9Done
Congratulations, Now you can send and receive Starhub.net.sg email on your Android device.
