Tim Email Setup for Android

Tim Setup Step Process

1. Go to the Android Home screen and open an Email or Gmail app (This setup may vary depending on the model and version).
2. if you already have other email accounts in this app, go to Menu from the top 3 line and Tap settings and click Add Account.
3. Tab Other into Setup email section.
4. Enter your tim.it email address then click Manual Setup button.
5. Select IMAP account.
6. Enter the following details on incoming server settings screen.
   

   Username: Your username
   Password: Your account password
   IMAP server: box.posta.tim.it
   Security type: None (unchecked ssl option)
   Port: 143

   Click Next Button

7. Enter the following details on outgoing server settings screen.

   SMTP server: mail.posta.tim.it
   Port: 25
   Security type: None (unchecked ssl option)

   Click Next Button

8. Select Email check frequency (preferably every 15 minutes).
9. Give your account name and Press Done.
10. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive tim.it email on your Android device.
