Comcast mail iPhone Setup Process

1. Go to iPhone settings option.
2. Scroll down and tab Mail, Contacts and Calendars option.
3. Choose Add Account available below iCloud tag and tab other (Other option only if your comcast.net email provider not mentioned here.
4. Choose Add Mail Account and enter the following details.
   

   Name: Your Name (What ever you want)
   Email: Your email address is your username
   Password: Your comcast.net account password
   Description:
   

   Click Next Button

5. Choose IMAP under incoming mail server and enter the following details.
   

   Hostname: imap.comcast.net
   Username: Your email address is your username
   Password: Your comcast.net account password

6. Enter following details under outgoing mail server.
   

   Hostname: smtp.comcast.net
   Username: Your email address is your username
   Password: Your comcast.net account password
   

   Click Save Button

7. Go to settings > Your Comcast account > Advanced and enter following details under incoming settings.
   

   Use SSL: Yes
   Authentication: Password
   Server Port: 993 or 143

8. Enter following details under outgoing settings.
   

   Use SSL: Yes
   Authentication: Password
   Server Port: 587 or 465(ssl)

9. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive comcast.net email on your iPhone device.
